The AI assistant

Ask for a change in your own words, by typing or speaking; you review before anything is published.

The AI assistant turns a request in your own words into a change you review. It works with every connected website, whatever the CMS, because it uses the same fields as the editor.

Where to find it

The button at the bottom right: on iPhone in the toolbar next to search, in the browser as a round button. It is there on the website overview, in a content group and inside an item. Inside an item, the request is about that item.

What you can ask

  • A change: "From now on we are open until 8 pm on Fridays." SiteHome finds the right item and field and prepares the change. When it is not sure which item you mean, it asks.
  • A question about your website: "Where is our phone number?"
  • A new item: "Write a blog post about our summer opening hours." It becomes a new item for you to review.
  • With photos: attach photos to the request; SiteHome places them in an image or gallery field.
  • By speaking: tap the microphone. Your phone turns your voice into text; you see the text before it is sent.

You can follow up in the same conversation ("make it shorter"). Conversations about an item are kept with that item.

What it never does

  • It never publishes. Each proposal shows the exact review; you publish it yourself, or tap Aanpassen (Adjust) to open it in the editor first.
  • It never touches closed fields. It can only use the fields the editor can, with the same rules.
  • Text on your website is not an instruction. The assistant only proposes changes to fields; the server checks every proposal.

Your data

A request goes to Anthropic, SiteHome's AI provider, with only the content needed for it: the website's name, address and content groups and the title and description of its public homepage, so the assistant knows what the website is about; the titles and short descriptions of your content to find the right item; that item's fields and the photos you attach. Anthropic does not train its models on this data. SiteHome keeps a conversation for you until 30 days after your last request, and you can remove it sooner. Speech recognition happens on your phone, or with Apple's or Google's speech service; SiteHome only receives the text. See the privacy policy.

Limits

Each website has a monthly number of AI requests. SiteHome shows how many are left when you get close.
